Bio

Hello!

I am a DBE certified freelance transportation analyst located in the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in transport modeling and data visualization. Prior to this I worked for Arup as a transportaton planner/engineer in San Francisco and New York City, primarily focusing on models and simulations of transportation systems and data mapping. My interests are in analysis and design in complex urban environments where automobile, pedestrian and transit accessibility are integral to success.

I have considerable experience building, validating and operating a variety of transportation modeling packages including Paramics and VISSIM for microsimulation modeling, Cube and EMME/2 at the regional level and Synchro, Traffix and HCS for intersections.

More recently I have developed transportation analysis tools in Python for data analysis, and d3.js and Leaflet for interactive mapping.
